At Strive Physical Therapy, our goal is to deliver exceptional care in a 100% one-on- one treatment format.

Making a difference, one kinetic chain at a time!

Here, we don’t treat conditions; we treat people. As such, patients spend their entire appointment with the therapist—no techs, no assistants, no unsupervised exercise time. That way, the therapist gets to know each patient on a deeper, more personal level—and patients get the individualized care and attention they need to achieve the best possible results.

We believe care is most effective when patients are involved in—and committed to—their treatment plans. That’s why we take the time to ensure that each patient fully understands his or her diagnosis as well as the rationale behind the prescribed care plan.

Lines of communication between therapists and patients are always open at Strive PT. That way, we can provide each patient with the education, coaching, and support he or she needs to efficiently advance through the care plan. This also allows therapists to revise and update prescribed treatments, exercises, and goals in line with patient progress.

Finally, the one-on-one nature of every treatment session ensures patients optimize the time spent in the clinic, thus reducing the number of necessary visits per week.

Strive PT is One of the Top Physical Therapy Clinics in The chandler - gilbert area

“I am a budding 16-year-old with a 26-degree curve in my spine. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4. When I was 11, I was diagnosed with slight scoliosis, and my mom took me to see Shveta for the first time. I can say with absolute certainty that I am better for having been treated by her."

-Diana G.

"Shveta is by far the best PT I have had the pleasure of working with, and I’ve had many sports injuries and resulting surgeries. She cares for your whole body, not just the targeted area. Truly a great patient experience!”

-Emma K.

“Shveta gently nudges you forward when you are ready to give up. She understands your frustrations and celebrates your successes. She listens to her clients and makes a personal connection with each of them. Her skills are beyond excellent.”

Doctor of Physical Therapy & Founder

Like most physical therapists, Shveta Jones originally got into the PT field because she wanted to help people. What she found after nearly 15 years of practice, though, was that most therapy organizations operated under a volume-driven practice model—one that forced her to see multiple patients per hour. That meant she only had 10 to 20 minutes with each patient before she handed them off to support staff.

“The patients would perform their exercises independently for the most part, and I was not able to provide them with appropriate corrections or cues—or even monitor their exercises—because I was working on my next patient,” she says. Burned out on this assembly-line mode of care delivery, Shveta began exploring the idea of opening her own practice. “I decided that if I was going to open my own practice, I was going to make sure that I could see my patients on a one-on-one basis,” she says. She spent a year or so researching this sort of practice model and seeking guidance from her professional mentor, fellow PT colleagues, and successful business owners. Ultimately, she decided that going fully out of network would allow her the kind of treatment freedom that she—and so many PT patients—craved. Shveta’s dream became a reality on July 9, 2018, when she officially opened Strive Physical Therapy in Chandler, Arizona.

Develop Strong and Resilient Shoulders

I remember when I first began working out, I was a sponge for knowledge. I would spend hours online searching for the best way to build muscle, reading different bodybuilding articles, and finding new workout programs to try.

It Sucks Getting Old

As someone who’s nearly 30, I have to say that working out now is much different for me than it was in my teens and early twenties. I could do just about anything in a workout, have no warm-up or mobility work, and feel just fine afterwards

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect during my first appointment?
During your first appointment, Dr. Jones will evaluate and diagnose your issue. To do so, she will conduct a series of physical tests and measurements as well as ask you questions about your current symptoms and the history of your problem. She will then create a care plan outlining the scope and frequency of your in-clinic treatments and home exercise program. You’ll spend the remainder of the appointment receiving treatment and training on your home exercises, if applicable. You’ll spend the entirety of this session—and all subsequent sessions—receiving one-on-one care and coaching from your physical therapist.
What can I expect during my subsequent appointments?
Once you and Dr. Jones establish a care plan, you will attend regular appointments based on the frequency prescribed by her.. These appointments will include a mix of manual (i.e., hands-on) therapy and guided exercise. Unlike appointments in many other PT practices, you will spend your entire appointment with your physical therapist. During these appointments, your PT may conduct periodic follow-up tests to assess your progress and make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
What should I wear to my appointments?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to move without restriction (think gym clothes) as well as comfortable shoes (although you may be required to perform some of your exercises without shoes on). Shorts are preferred for the initial evaluation, especially if you are being evaluated for a lower-extremity problem.
How often will I see my therapist?
The frequency of your in-clinic visits will depend on your specific needs. However, most Strive PT patients come in once or twice a week. (By comparison, most other clinics require patients to attend therapy three or four times per week—but our unique one-on-one treatment model allows us to achieve meaningful results in fewer sessions.)
Do I need to see a physician or obtain a referral prior to my first appointment?
No. The state of Arizona allows patients to access physical therapy without any restrictions or limitations. This means there is no need to obtain a physician referral or prescription prior to beginning your treatment at Strive PT. However, keep in mind that some insurances may require physician involvement in care as a condition of reimbursement. So, if you plan to apply your out-of-network insurance benefits, we’d recommend confirming those requirements with your insurance provider.
Are you a Medicare provider?
No. Strive PT does not contract with Medicare, which means we cannot provide Medicare-covered therapy services to Medicare beneficiaries. However, we can provide Medicare beneficiaries with health and wellness services on a cash-pay basis.
Do you take insurance?
We are a fully out-of-network practice, and we do not submit claims to any insurance carriers. This means patients are responsible for the full cost of care at the time of service. However, we do provide receipts to patients who wish to submit for reimbursement from their insurance companies on their own. Many patients who choose to apply their out-of-network benefits in this way are able to successfully obtain reimbursement. If you plan to do this, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about its out-of-network coverage policies and requirements. For a detailed guide to determining your insurance benefits for physical therapy, click here.
What are the benefits of being an out-of-network provider?
Being fully out of network allows us to focus on delivering truly patient-focused treatment without being controlled by insurance reimbursement requirements and rates. Such constraints often force therapy providers to schedule multiple patients per hour, which decreases the level of individual attention therapists can provide to each patient. Our unique one-on-one care model, on the other hand, allows patients to achieve better results in fewer visits. Additionally, our flat-rate cash-pay fee structure keeps the cost of care predictable. In other words, you’ll never have to worry about receiving a surprise bill.
What are your rates, and which forms of payment do you accept?

We accept payment in the form of cash, check, credit or debit card, and HSA or FSA card. Pricing is as follows:

  • $250 – First visit of each new case (includes initial evaluation and treatment; typically lasts 75-80 minutes)
  • $125 – Each subsequent treatment visit (typically lasts 60-65 minutes)
